The Cross Lanes Hotel & Brasserie |
|
In 1959 Maes y Nant was sold and converted to a hotel. Many of the original features and homely atmosphere are preserved to this day. Except that now of course, all 16 bedrooms are en-suite and individually decorated for your comfort, including facilities such as trouser press, hairdryers, colour TV, direct dial telephones and complimentary hot and cold beverages. The Cross Lanes is a perfect base for visiting the historic Roman city of Chester with its varied architecture, excellent shopping and famous Rows. Visit the many castles, stately homes and gardens of Cheshire and North Wales or just enjoy the stunning scenery. Commercially, the Hotel with easy access and plenty of car parking has two ground floor meeting rooms and is only 5 minutes from the Business and Industrial Parks around Wrexham. All meeting rooms open directly onto the grounds and are often used for leadership courses, team building exercises and training. The Garden Suite lends itself for social functions such as weddings and dinners. Relaxed, charming and friendly are the words often used to describe Kagan's Brasserie. Here you can enjoy quality food cooked simply with fresh local ingredients at value for money prices. All wines listed have been personally tasted and selected with many wines offered by the glass. Enjoy a drink or meal on the patio overlooking our beautiful gardens in summer or sit by a roaring log fire in winter. Whatever the weather or the occasion you can be sure of a warm welcome. |
