Erddig Hall is one of the most complete country houses in Britain. Visitors enter through the working parts of the house, there is a joiner's shop, smithy, stables, bakehouse, laundry and kitchen. Everything looks as if it has been left for the afternoon. The garage even has vintage cars sitting in it. Upstairs the formal rooms are full of 18th Century furniture, and the servants quarters are all untouched. A real opportunity to see how everyday life was carried out. There is also a large walled, formal garden.
