Minera Lead Mines |

Pan for lead at Minera Lead Mines where mining has taken place since Medieval times. Remains of 19th Century lead processing areas, a beam engine house, winding engine and boiler houses have been excavated and restored. Working machinery has been installed and a Visitor Centre outlines the history of the site. Facilities Car Park, coach parties welcome, toilets, toilets for the disabled, guide dogs welcome, guided walk/talk, school parties welcome, school information packs. Directions Minera Lead Mines is signed from the A525 Wrexham to Ruthin road at Coedpoeth, and Minera Village. |
