The excellent conditions and year round fixtures always pull in the crowds, drawn by the prospect of seeing fine horses and the promise of a good day's racing. Newcomers and old hands are equally welcome. If you haven't been to the races before, don't worry, - simply give us a ring and we'll send you a copy of 'Come Racing', our newcomer's guide, which is full of useful information on what to look out for and how to place bets with both Tote and Bookmakers. Why not make it a family day out. Entrance for children under sixteen is free and there's an excellent choice of food and drink for all the family. Whether you want a full meal in the Restaurant, a snack, or just an ice cream, all are available at reasonable prices. Even the car parking and bus service are free. Placing a bet couldn't be easier. All betting is tax free either with Tote or Bookmakers. If you're a betting enthusiast, you even bet on races at other meetings around the country and keep an eye on the form on TV's around the course or in the Tote Betting Shop. Whether you bet in pennies or pounds you won't forget the thrill of picking that first winner! |
