The Wynnstay Arms Hotel

Welcome to the Wynnstay Arms Hotel and the pleasures of staying in one of Wrexham's most important, Grade 2 listed buildings. A £1.4 million refurbishment programme was completed in March 1999 to create a modern, well appointed hotel with a beautifully restored Georgian facade.

The hotel is located in the centre of Wrexham and is within easy reach of Chester and the North Wales coast. The Wynnstay is at once a comfortable home away from home and an unparalleled venue for business meetings, weddings and family functions.

Whether you're wrapping up a day of business or you're having a lunchtime meeting, our Cuprum Cafe Bar is the perfect place to unwind.

Hot and cold lunches from our extensive menu are served between 12 noon and 2pm and we are open all day for tea, coffee and drinks. In the evening the Cuprum becomes a lively venue with music and Sky TV.  However, if you are looking for a quieter, calmer atmosphere in the evening, you can relax in the comfortable residents' bar located on the first floor.

The Wynnstay has 67 comfortable bedrooms, all with en-suite baths and showers. All our rooms are equipped with telephone, remote colour TV, trouser press, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

The same fixed rate is charged for all rooms, seven days a week, whether single, double or one of our seven family rooms pictured opposite. And for families with a baby, a cot can be provided on request.

Our beautifully appointed first floor restaurant, with its a Ia carte menu, has a reputation for excellent cuisine at sensible prices. It is also the perfect choice for your wedding reception.

We can advise you on all the requirements to make your special day extra special. We also have excellent facilities for business meetings and conferences. Our Yale room, seating up to 12 people, is ideal for small boardroom style meetings.

The Yorke room caters for larger, theatre style conferences of up to 50 delegates and we have a range of presentation equipment available for hire.

The Wynnstay has its own car park at the rear where the main entrance to reception is located. The car park is protected by 24 hour closed circuit cameras offering guests complete security for their vehicles. Access to the car park is via Mount Street, turning right into Eagles Meadow and then immediately left.
