About Lloyd’s Animal Feeds (Wrexham mill)
Lloyd's Animal Feeds is an independent maker of compound feeds for farm livestock, based at Morton near Oswestry, with mills in several parts of the UK. Its Wrexham mill on Bridge Road North produces compound feed, and the premises are registered with the Veterinary Medicines Directorate as an approved feed business.
The mill was established in the mid-1980s by Oldacres and later owned by Dalgety. Lloyd's Animal Feeds (Western) Ltd bought it in 1999, when it was making pig and poultry compound feed and had a capacity of around 130,000 tonnes a year. Lloyd's Animal Feeds continues to be listed among the occupiers of Wrexham Industrial Estate.
